How is the CCNS program delivered?
The CCNS program will be delivered 5 days a week (in the lab).

What will be the duration per day for the CCNS program?
The duration per batch shall continue to be either

  1. 2 hours per day
  2. 4 hours per day

What will be the total duration of the CCNS program?
The CCNS program is structured as follows:

  • Total duration is 520 hours.
  • The program is structured as a tri-modular career program.

What does the course comprise of?
MODULE I: In this module the student aims at achieving Desktop Administration skills.

  1. PC Engineering: The student gains knowledge of PC & peripheral based environment.
  2. Internetworking with Routing & Switching Devices: The student gains knowledge of primary CISCO based networks.
  3. IT Service Desk Fundamentals & Analysis: The student improves soft skills for managing an IT Service Desk.
  4. Installing & Configuring Microsoft Windows Vista: The student understands a Microsoft Windows based desktop environment.

MODULE II: While the earlier module creates a fundamental IT enabled services professional, Module II creates a specialist in the Microsoft Windows networking environment.

  1. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment: The student learns to administer a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 set up.
  2. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure: The student learns to install a network in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment.
  3. Microsoft Exchange Server 2007: The student understands working in a mail server environment.
  4. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure: The student masters the Active Directory services in a Microsoft environment.
  5. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (MCSA Upgrade): The student upgrades skills to the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 environment.
  6. Red Hat Linux Essentials: The student is exposed to UNIX environment & Red Hat’s Linux commands.
  7. Red Hat Linux System Administration: The student masters the functionality involved in administering a Red Hat Linux environment.
  8. Red Hat Linux Networking & Security Administration: The student understands network & security related protocols in a Red Hat Linux environment.
  9. Red Hat Linux Virtualization: The student masters the technology of network management through the virtual model.

MODULE III: This once in a life time module introduces the student to Information Security, Storage Fundamentals & functioning of Network Operations Centre, in depth and more than any other institute in India.

  1. Information Security: The student learns security of programs, communication, web, network & infrastructure.
  2. Set-up Your Own NOC (Network Operations Centre): The student is updated on Remote Infrastructure Management.
  3. Storage Fundamentals: The student is updated about the variances on storage management technology.

Who should join for CCSS program?
Anyone who wants to make a career in IT Services delivery must join for the CCSS program. The program is a healthy mix of classroom and On-Job-Training in world class IT facilities.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for CCSS?
Graduates & Diploma holders (Engineering/Computer Application/Computer Science) from any recognized board or University with good communication skills are eligible for the CCSS program.

  4. MS Windows 7: The student understands a Microsoft Windows 7 based desktop environment.
  5. Microsoft Windows Server 2008: The student learns to install a network in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 environment.
  6. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure: The student learns to add IP address, DNS etc. on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Environment.
